Ever since she was young, Zaneilia Harris has always had a passion for financial management and entrepreneurship. Her family’s struggles with finance only fueled her drive to learn more about the industry. After losing her job at an investment management firm due to the 2008 recession, she decided to take matters into her own hands and establish Harris & Harris Wealth Management. Despite the challenges of being a female African-American entrepreneur in the financial industry, she continues her legacy in empowering female professionals about financial literacy. She believes that when women are financially empowered it brings a positive effect to communities.
